Our client is a US asset manager with presence all over the world. It is now looking for a senior legal counsel to join its established legal team in Hong Kong. This is a regional role and also covers the firm’s China business, amongst other jurisdictions in Asia. As such, prior experience on matters relating to the SFC, MAS, and Connected Schemes would be ideal. The main focus of this role is on institutional investment work, so the successful candidate should be able to negotiate documents in this space. Business level Chinese skills are essential. This is a senior role in the team, so candidates are expected to have strong business acumen and a willingness to mentor others. WS9973
