To mark this week’s World Mental Health Day 2020, MindHK has launched their #behindthemask campaign.
As wearing a mask has become part of our daily lives in the COVID-19 pandemic, it masks our own and others’ expressions, hiding what we are feeling. This campaign seeks to encourage people to speak up about how they are feeling #behindthemask, seek help when needed, and check in on others.
Take some time and check-in with yourself and people around you, by asking them how are they feeling #behindthemask?
Visit www.mind.org.hk/behindthemask to learn more about the campaign, COVID-19 mental health resources and available pro bono mental health support.
Mind HK’s initiatives providing support to those in need:
The COVID-19Mental Health Relief Scheme is offering short-term pro bono mental health support to those that have been affected by the pandemic, particularly low-income groups and those in quarantine centres or hospitalised.
Help Me, Mind HK’s new virtual assistant, uses artificial intelligence (AI) to make access to information on mental health and support easier to find.
